Welcome to the Cann Bridge Governors page. We hope you find the following information useful.
The Governors are here to support the strategic development of the school and to support the Headteacher and School Management and Leadership in moving the school forward and ensuring the needs of all the learners’ are met. Governors come from all walks of life and fulfil different roles according to their skills. The Governing Board has a vital role in raising and maintaining standards.
If you are in school, you may see Governors around, as we do visit classrooms and talk to the staff about how well the learners are doing. All Governors will be wearing a Governor Lanyard to make sure we are easy to identify.
We hope you will find our regularly updated information useful however if there is something you would like to see, please let us know. You can contact us by:

There was formally a Federated Governing Board across Cann Bridge School and Tor Bridge Primary School. Following self-evaluation and consultation with stakeholders, the Federated Governing Board made the decision to de-federate in July 2017 in order to form a focussed, dedicated Governing Board for each school. The Cann Bridge School Governing Board was formed on the 20/07/17. We are part of the Tor Bridge Partnership of four schools across the Campus.
