Holiday Club

At Cann Bridge we aim to run a Holiday Club during the summer holidays, usually in the middle week,  however this is dependent year by year on funding.  The club runs from 9.30 – 3.00 Monday – Friday and offers Cann Bridge pupils the opportunity to access physical, creative and sensory activities in a familiar environment supported by staff who understand their individual needs.  The club provides some familiar routine for the pupils while supporting them to develop friendships and access a variety of fun activities.

Our Holiday Club Co-ordinator Jared, provides family-based activities through all school holidays some of which are supported by the Fit and Fed Programme.  Activities provided range from individual hydrotherapy and sensory sessions to group stay and play sessions.  These holiday sessions allow families to access appropriate activities for their child(ren) in a safe environment, meet other parents/carers and develop parental friendships/groups, allow siblings to meet and develop friendship groups, support pupils to maintain regular routines during the school holidays and encourage families to experience a variety of different activities that they may not be able to access within the community.

Some of the activities offered are:

  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Summer Family Fun Day
  • Music Sessions
  • Dance Sessions
  • Pumpkin Hunt
  • Christmas Party
  • Trampolining
  • Cinema
  • Bikability
  • Sport Sessions

Booking forms for activities are sent home the week before the school holidays, activities are booked on a first come first served basis with a minimal cost.
