We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join Cann Bridge, a special school for learners aged 4-19 with severe learning difficulties. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with special educational needs, both inside & outside the classroom. Your responsibilities will include implementing individual education plans (IEPs) & personalised learning strategies, collaborating with teachers & professionals, assisting with personal care tasks & helping learners develop social & emotional skills.
Cann Bridge School is seeking candidates who are eager to develop the skills & knowledge necessary to become excellent Teaching Assistants. An appropriate Level 2 qualification is desirable, we also welcome candidates who are committed to working towards this qualification. Our cohort is growing and the needs of our learners are changing, we are therefore requiring more staff to work on a 1:1 basis.
