Cann Bridge School (formerly known as Downham School in Plymstock) is a school for pupils aged 3-19 who have severe learning difficulties. The school is purpose built and opened in September 2021 on the Tor Bridge Partnership site.

Four individual schools share one site, Tor Bridge High, Tor Bridge Primary, Plym Bridge Nursery School and Cann Bridge. We are all fortunate in that we share many amazing resources such as the arts and sports facilities and a large community library.

Pupils at Cann Bridge benefit hugely from outdoor learning. They have access to a Forest Schools area which is maintained on a regular basis by our older students. They have access to the Science garden in Tor Bridge High as well as the sports fields. Pupils at Cann Bridge have their own dedicated play areas which included keep fit equipment and a range of playground equipment. Funds for much of this has been raised through donations and fundraising. In addition, the school has an outdoor classroom where children can go and practice their gardening skills.
