Pupils at Cann Bridge benefit hugely from outdoor learning and we have a policy outlining our commitment to this curriculum thread in our Creativity and The Arts Team page.

Learners have access to an outdoor space from every classroom. This allows learning to transfer from the traditional classroom environment to the outdoors, allowing opportunities for further sensory exploration and regulation.

We have our own Forest Schools area which is maintained on a regular basis by our Key Stage 4 learners, an Outdoor Classroom within our own Science Garden area which supports gardening, and a shared sports field and MUGA.

We have two dedicated playgrounds, one for upper school and one for lower school. These include keep fit equipment, tarmac printings and a range of playground equipment. Funds for most of this has been raised through donations and fundraising.
