In Spring 2025, our school proudly opened the Communication, Language and Literacy Library, a dedicated space designed to inspire a love of reading and learning. This milestone was made possible through the generosity of supporters and charitable donations, and the determined efforts of Wendy Fisher (Volunteer Fundraiser), who spearheaded The Library Appeal to raise the necessary £11,500.

Previously, our library was limited to a small cupboard, restricting access to valuable resources. Thanks to the successful fundraising campaign, we transformed an existing resource storage area into a vibrant, welcoming library, complete with comfortable reading spaces and dedicated areas for interventions such as emotional literacy and small group activities. Additional storage solutions were also created to ensure an organised and accessible learning environment.

This new facility marks a significant step forward in enhancing literacy and communication opportunities for our learners and staff, fostering a culture of exploration, engagement, and educational growth.
