The Plymouth Outreach Service for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
The Plymouth Outreach Service for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is designed to support mainstream schools in effectively meeting the needs of pupils with learning difficulties. Staff from Longcause Special School and Mill Ford Special School will provide consultation, professional development, and direct support to enhance the capacity of mainstream schools to address the diverse needs of their students.

Completed referrals can be sent to: outreach.longcause@millford.plymouth.sch.uk
All referrals will be discussed at a triage meeting to ensure the most appropriate support is offered. Triage meetings take place every 4 weeks.
In addition, the Physical Disabilities Outreach Service, funded by Plymouth City Council, is operated by Woodlands School.
