Hello wonderful grownups!

In 7 Cann we are a very much focused on engagement learning and working with our individual skills, interests and needs above all else. We love to explore sensory experiences. You are our amazing grownups outside of school, but we are so lucky to also have a fantastic team of grownups in class, all with a range of skills, experiences and interests, just like us. The grownup you see to the left says he originally trained to teach reception-aged children and this is part of why he keeps giving us messy things to explore and experience; did you know he found a way to put a pot of slime into the class story, and leaves trays of all sorts of messy things around… we’ve even heard he might start pouring paint and slime on the tables for us to mark make with!

He's been at Cann Bridge School for about 5 years now and he looks like he is happy about that, having experienced individuals with additional needs from both among his siblings and his own children before settling into this role. All our 7 Cann grownups are just as exciting and silly, and their lively characters really help us to develop our focus and engage with our individual learning. Fun, mess, silliness and laughter all support us with our learning far more than being bored. We love it!
