In 5 Cann, our learners are following the subject-specific pathway. We are prioritising the core subjects which are Maths, English, PSHE and PE whilst also providing additional opportunities to learn about Humanities, Science, Computing, Music, RE, Art & Design, and Design & Technology. Throughout the academic year we will introduce a variety of themes that will ensure our learners are exposed to cross curriculum links, creating a more meaningful learning experience.

Our educational approach is rooted in providing each learner with personalised learning experiences. These experiences are thoughtfully crafted to align with the unique interests of our learners. Through a thematic approach, we aim to solidify, expand, and generalise their knowledge, concepts, and skills, fostering their independence and growth. This allows our learners to prepare for Key Stage 3 and beyond.
