At Cann Bridge School we are looking for a governor to join our governing body. As a governor you will be a volunteer who makes a vital contribution to the success of the school.
Cann Bridge School are looking to recruit one member onto our dynamic Board of Governors. Ideally, the individual would have experience within finance, although this is not essential. The individual would need to support the interests of the Local Authority in their role as governor.
The Board of Governors have a healthy working relationship with the Head Teacher who welcomes challenge and scrutiny of the school’s work, and they offer strategic support for the direction of the school.
They are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children within the school and has strategic vision. Being involved in a unique setting for children with special needs, the individual can expect to find the role challenging, yet extremely rewarding.
Cann Bridge is committed to safeguarding & promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check & provide satisfactory references.
