Teacher: Maggie Antell

I’m Maggie and I am currently a teacher in Key Stage 1.

I have worked at Cann Bridge since September 2023 and loved it so far! Previously, I worked as a Family Support Worker at a local school. I enjoyed supporting learners with a variety of different needs and enjoyed working with families to support each child within their learning and their home environment. Within my time as a FSW I fell in love with the wonders of working with children with SEND.

I have learnt a lot within my role. I love the creativeness of the curriculum and adapting this to experience engaging and explorative sessions with the learners in my class. You will often find us covered in paint, water or outside, learning in the wider environment.

When I am away from school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, baking and taking my dog Darcy for scenic walks.
