Teachers – Julia Martin & Katie McCarthy
12 Cann is the new Key Stage (KS) 4 Class at Cann Bridge. Teachers Julia and Katie have a wealth of experience and knowledge of SEND.

We are both very excited to be delivering the new NOCN accreditations and the Cann Bridge Curriculum as well as working alongside the other KS4 teachers, Emma and Lee.

KS4 is the bridge between KS3 and Post-16 and this class will work towards developing learners functional life skills and prepare them for their next learning journey either at Post Bridge College or another Post-16 Provider.

Julia works Monday to Wednesday and Katie, Wednesday to Friday.

On our days off Katie enjoys dog walking, gardening, looking after her chickens and kayaking. In addition Katie is the Staff Governor at Cann Bridge School, School Council Coordinator and Education Visits Coordinator.

Julia enjoys baking and decorating cakes, caring for her family and two dogs along with as many theatre visits she can afford! Julia is also part of the leadership team at her local church and participates in the children's outreach.
