Cann Bridge School requires two outstanding
and enthusiastic teachers for April 2019

Cann Bridge School caters for children with severe learning difficulties from 3 to 19 years in the vibrant waterside City of Plymouth on a purpose built site, Tor Bridge, where inclusion is approached in inspiring ways.
Class Teacher MPR, 1 SEN Point

We require two skilled and passionate teachers who will be responsible for the delivery of a full curriculum in an original and exciting way to ensure that the learning needs of all the individuals in the class groups are met. Both positions are in Key Stage 1 classes; early years/KS1 and experience of complex learning disabilities will be beneficial.

Salary £17,681– £18,870 (pro rata approx. £11,970- £12,775)
29.25 hours per week 39 weeks per year

Cann Bridge School caters for children with severe learning difficulties from 3 to 19 years and we require a Grade C teaching assistant from November 2018. The post is initially temporary with the possibility of permanency for the right candidate.

The post will be in our Early Years Foundation Stage Class, working with a skilled team under the direction of an experienced teacher. The practice in the class is of an exceptionally high standard delivering outstanding outcomes for the pupils.

Experience of early years development, knowledge of children with learning difficulties, experience of complex behaviour and autistic spectrum conditions and an appropriate qualification at Level 2 are required; you will need to demonstrate this in your application and at interview.

Applicants will need to be calm, patient, with a good sense of humour, and willing to undertake any training necessary.

The role involves working with vulnerable children and adults and so all applicants will require an enhanced DBS clearance.
